Ventura-- The Ventura County Board of Supervisors stepped up in a big way for Nyeland Acres Residents and dedicated John C. Zaragoza Community Park.
THE park features new playground equipment and will feature exercise programming.
Zaragoza was grateful for the effort and the recreational access opportunities for Nyeland Acres residents.
“A huge thank you to the County of Ventura Board of Supervisors for approving the opening of the John C. Zaragoza Community Park,” he said. “Our Nyeland Acres residents will finally have access to a park, opening from dawn to dusk every day. The park will be a safe place where families can gather to play soccer, use the playground, do Zumba, and many other activities.”
Supervisor Kelly Long and her team, the GSA department, County CEO Dr. Sevet Johnson, and the Nyeland Promise board advocated for Nyeland Acres residents to make Zaragoza Community Park happen.
