Channel Islands-- The BRAVE Foundation meeting at Mrs. Olson's Coffee Hut continues with 38th Assembly District Candidate Cole Brocato, who said the BRAVE Foundation is like his other home.
"Matt (Brimigion) is the leader of BRAVE and is one of my best friends," Brocato said. "When we found out they were going to lift the mask mandate last Thursday; we found out about all the caveats that go with it. It's only if you're vaccinated, they can't check, and they're not going to, and it wasn't for inside the hospitals, and it definitely was not for the school-age kids. I did a simple post on my campaign Instagram saying what was going to be happening coming up, and I got people reaching out and saying we can't be happy about anything. What about the kids? I said, my kids, don't wear a mask. I'm not sending my kids to school with a mask. What can I do to help you? Your kids are wearing a mask. How can I help, and what can I do?"
He sadly didn't get enough replies to that question and said he couldn't sleep on Thursday night.
