Christmas Parade is a 'Storybook'

Oxnard—The City of Oxnard, Moms, Dads, Kids, Grandparents, and Dogs were out en masse for the Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6.

THE streets around Plaza Park and up A and C Streets were a sea of people, all ready to welcome the Holiday Season and Yuletide Spirit, and everyone welcomed the day’s star, Santa Claus. This year’s Grand Marshall was Anderson Paak.

The Oxnard Downtowners Foundation made all the magic happen.

The day featured lots of music, bands, characters, floats, and food, as the Tamale Festival was also taking place.

Council Member Gabriela Rodriguez reveled in the Holiday Fun.

“What a wonderful parade, Oxnard,” she said. “Seeing so many children, families, and community groups come together to celebrate truly filled my heart. Your smiles, your energy, and your community pride made Saturday’s parade unforgettable. Moments like these remind me why I’m honored to serve our beautiful city. Thank you for showing up, supporting one another, and keeping our traditions strong. Wishing every family peace, joy, and warmth this holiday season. Merry Christmas, Oxnard!”
