Channel Islands—The May Channel Islands Farmers’ Market was full of food, music, fun, and enthusiastic Shoppers, picking up great treats and handmade delights while enjoying some light music.
JOY Campomar from La Montagne Des Saveurs, the “Finest French cheese, from our mountains to you.”
Joy started the company; she is French and brought some of her favorite cheeses.
“I’m a salesman at heart and have all the cheeses you need,” he said. “The customers ask many questions; we have goudas, cheese from Switzerland, parmesan, Pompeii Gruyere. We have something for everything.”

Kevin Wallace visits the Farmer’s Market each Sunday and the Downtown Farmers’ Market on Wednesday.
“It’s like the old town hall, and we’re buying directly from the people,” he said. “We’re supporting the community.”

Wife Sheryl likes all the flowers.
“Anything with flowers,” she said. “We shop all the Farmers’ Markets.”
Venus ran the Manouchiri for about one month and works weekends.
“I’m at Riverside on Sundays and here on Sundays,” she said. I was working for an Italian company, and we had a lot of goodies, and they were all Italian.”
