Ventura-- Things may continue to be challenging in this world. Still, car and truck enthusiasts can rely on friendship, hot cars and trucks, and stimulating conversation at the Antique Adventures car event each Sunday morning.
REGULAR attendees catch up on their friends’ adventures throughout the week, and the new attendees are welcomed into the family and made to feel right at home.
The coffee is hot, and the camaraderie runs through the parking lot. Everyone is welcome.
Event Organizer Tom Berger said the group keeps gathering throughout the year, and things don’t change.
“If it gets cold, we have jackets,” he said. “I’m a member of The Pharaohs, and a few of them come here, but we don’t have a lot of them in this area. They are big in Modesto because they are the original group. We have chapters everywhere.”
He said new people always come to check out the group.
We advertise it on the Pharaoh website every week,” he said. “When somebody new comes, we look at their car, ask them about it and talk about it. All the guys are happy when they bring their cars here, and people look at them.”
If people need…
