Classics spring into Antique Adventures

Ventura—Spring is on the horizon, longer, warmer days, plenty of things to do, but the one constant is always the great classic cars each Sunday morning in the Antique Adventures Parking lot.

THE gear heads, hot rodders, collectors, along with plenty of friends, arrive early, about 7 a.m., followed by plenty of donuts, coffee, and by 9 a.m., there is a ton of talk, laughing, advice, and the trademark camaraderie known at Antique Adventures.

The store opens at 10 a.m., which means a true adventure full of unbelievable gifts, wall to wall.

Store employee Jarek led the store with Jesse, but he had the opportunity to check out all the hot rods in the parking lot.

“There is a pretty good turnout today, and there are a lot of cool ones out there,” he said. “I liked the Mustang and a custom Packard, yes, there are lots of great cars out there.”

Sadly, he said the band has stopped playing on Sunday mornings.

 

“They have a couple of other gigs they are playing on Sunday, he said. “They’ll probably rotate around and come back and do some other stuff.”
