Channel Islands—The Concerts by the Sea Series concluded with a nostalgic trip into the past, Saturday, August 30, as Psychedelic Summer played great hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
THE dance area was packed with concertgoers who rejoiced and felt sad that the summer series was over for 2025.
Guitar Player and vocalist Jerry Briener was thrilled to close the season for the Harbor.
“I started playing the ukulele at age 5,” he said. “My parents didn’t play, but they were musical.”
He plays everything.
“It happened organically,” he said. “Through the years, if I needed a banjo, I got a banjo.”
He loves the Beatles and said the entire catalogue is great.
He loves making people smile.
Drummer Brian Meegan grew up with music.
“I’d listen to it on my radio at night when I went to sleep,” he said. “I stay to the essence of the artist when I play.”

Dave Blairs comes from Australia.
“I know every song they played,” he said. “I’m a music fan.”
