County Employees honored

Ventura—The Board of Supervisors, on Wednesday, January 21, presented recognitions to County Employees who have served for over 25 years.

County Human Services Director Daniele Keyser presented the award to employees who have reached service milestones of 20, 25, 30, and 35 years.

“This is during the third quarter of 2025,” she said, “We’re going to display everyone’s photo, and say a few words about them.

Honoree #1 is Michelle Contois, who for 25 years has been working with the District Attorney’s Office.

“As a Senior Attorney, Michelle has served as a District Attorney since 1995,” she said. “As our expert appellate Attorney, she brings a steady, seasoned voice to complex matters across every level of State and Federal Court, including the California Supreme Court and the U.S Supreme Court.”

Michelle provides legal training to attorneys and law enforcement and helps draft vetting and support opposition to legislative proposals.

“Thank you, Michelle, for 25 years of service to the people of Ventura County,” she said.

The County next recognized David Escammilla from the Human Services Agency.
