Channel Islands-- The Concerts by the Sea series finished up July with a huge performance by Decadent Decades that offered nothing fancy, just good ol’ Rock ‘n Roll spanning multiple decades.
CONCERT goers got involved from the opening song, and the band used its ability to gauge the crowd and make things happen. The band, outfitted in their uniform tuxedo t-shirts, kept the crowd engaged and music Rockin.
Diane attended the show and loves music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s but noted that 60s and 70s music are her favorite.
“I graduated from high school in 1967,” she said. “In the 60s, my favorite band was The Beatles and The Monkees.” This was her first Concerts by the Sea show, and she said the event was nice.
“Probably, the Goo Goo Dolls and Madonna were my favorites,” she said about music from the 80s. “I don’t remember when Madonna started. One of my favorites from the 70s was Simon and Garfunkel.”
Cathy loves music from the 60s and said she was into listening to The Beatles back then.
“I remember ABBA,” she said. “I used to love their music.”
