Oxnard—The third Sunday of each month means a great breakfast at Eagles Lodge, as G’Ma’s Crew put their best foot forward and delighted the hungry crowd of early risers.
THE Fraternal Order of the Eagles’ motto, “People Helping People,” is reflected in the many fundraisers that benefit the community. Madame President Michele Two Coats said some of their many charities include cancer research, Diabetes awareness, victims of domestic violence, and kidney disease.
“We have omelets to order, Denver, Spanish, Western, and the kitchen omelet, which is literally everything but the kitchen sink,” she said. “The Kitchen Omelet has bacon, ham, bell and red peppers, mushrooms, and we have chilis, fresh-cut tomatoes, olives, and green onions.”
They also have eggs cut to order.
“We also have bacon, sausage, and home fries with onions and peppers,” she said. We also have hash browns and our famous biscuits and gravy, which everybody loves,” she said..
She also has an excellent crew that serves with a smile, who take orders, while the crew delivers quickly.
Peggy Duske said the Eagles Breakfast is the perfect treat for after church. She was busy at work, cooking her heart away.
