Oxnard-- The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Annual Report and second amendment to the Kreative Core contract continues with Project Management.
The Finance & Governance Committee, Tuesday, December 28, approved the second amendment for $700,000, not exceeding $900,000, and extended the agreement from September 30, 2022, until February 1, 2023, for contract Project Management services related to the Core Financials and Human Capital Management phases of the ERP implementation.
Deputy City Manager Shiri Klima said the city hired an employee project manager, and when he left, Barry Dunn, a consultant, took over the role.
“This past summer, the staff was noticing the progress on Core Financials had slowed down, and the progress on HCM (Human Capital Management) in preparation for HCM starting was not really happening,” she said. “We brought in Kreative Core Technologies. They came highly recommended, and we interviewed them among others. They came on board to perform a project assessment this fall. That was under a contract not to exceed $25,000.”
Kreative Core came back with a lot of recommendations, she said, and there was a lot of work and catching up that needed to be done to get back on track for the July 2022 launch.
