Oxnard—During his Tuesday, January 6 report to the City Council, City Manager Alex Nguyen said the Governor will release his budget for the coming year.
“Many eyes will be on that, and it’s very important in all sectors in the California community to be attentive, given the deficit the State has been bandying about,” he said.
“It will be the Governor’s initial proposal, and over the next four months there will be a lot of back and forth.”
He also noted that it’s a new year, as well as January 6.
Resolutions? “I’ve been advised not to make any,” he said.
