Oxnard— During its Tuesday, May 28 meeting, the Public Works and Transportation Committee approved an agreement with GreenCoast Landscape Services for service at various locations.
Interim Assistant Public Works Director Tim Beaman reviewed the agreement and said the amount is not to exceed $1.2 million for 2024-2025, the initial term, with an option to extend for an additional consecutive one-year extension not exceeding five years, ending June 29, 2029.
“The City has several locations that require landscape maintenance services currently contracted out at the Del Norte Recycling and Transfer Station, 111 Del Norte Road, the Oxnard Police Department Sturgis Annex.3001 Sturgis Sturgis Road, the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 6001 Perkins Road, the Advanced Water Treatment Facility, 5700 Perkins Road, and the Blending Station at 1700 Solar Drive,” he said. “The Water Campus at 251 S. Hayes Avenue and Oxnard Transit Center, 201 E. 4th Street.”
He said the locations are currently under a maintenance contract for the proposed locations, which expires on June 30, 2024.
