Ventura— During his Tuesday, April 28, report to the City Council, City Manager Bill Ayub said the Jackalope Block Party will kick off on Friday, May 1, through Sunday, May 3.
“The event is free to the public,” he said, “Visit www.cityofVenturaCaJackalope/smallbusinessweek.”
He said these events drive foot traffic, increase visitor spending, create strong ties, and continue to create Ventura as a destination, and create an adventure.
“Small Business Week in Ventura is on May 4, and it celebrates the vital role small businesses play in the community. The highlight includes the small business success hub on May 5, a free resource fair and workshop on May 7, and they’re helping resources adapt and grow.”
He said they’re also watching small business studio sessions, and one-on-one support for local business owners.
“More information is available on the City’s website,” he said. “Our music under the stars tickets go on sale on Tuesday, May 12, at Noon. Any of those are available on the City’s website. We encourage you to buy your tickets as soon as possible.”
The concerts are at the Historic Adobe that run Saturdays in July and August.
