Landscape Maintenance Agreement moves forward

Oxnard--The Public Works & Transportation Committee approved Agreement 32400239 with Four Seasons Landscaping for landscape services within Community Facilities District no. 5 (CFD5) during its Tuesday, October 24 meeting.

The agreement will not exceed $6.545 million for the maximum five-year, two-month term. The initial term will be 14 months, ending December 31, 2024.

After the initial term, the agreement can be extended for four additional one-year terms. The final extended final term ends December 31, 2028.

Special Districts Project Manager Anthony Miller presented the item and said the Special Districts Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and administration of Oxnard’s 50 Special Districts, including Community Facilities District No. 5 in Riverpark.

“Each of these Special Districts has specific individualized authorized services and improvements, including, but not limited to, park landscapes, open spaces, parkways, medians, other public improvements, and recreation and park amenities such as picnic shelters, restrooms, arbors, and fountains,” he said. “Properties within these districts are charged an annual parcel charge for the purpose of maintaining these and other authorized services and improvements.”
