Ventura—In her Tuesday, December 16 comments made to the public, Council Member Liz Campos said the Zoppe’ Family Circus will run from December 26, through January 2, at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.
“Tickets are available at the Fairgrounds, or you can get discounted tickets at zoppefamilycircus.com,” she said. “The joy of this circus coming is their youngest clown, at age 5, was a born, but was conceived at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, and they love to tell that story. It’s a great, fun thing to do over the Holidays, and they have a special show on New Year’s Eve,”
She also thanked community members assisting with the E.P. Foster Community Library, which will start construction in March and is expected to take about 12-18 months.
Council Member Rynn Schumacher said at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, at Plaza Park, there will be an Interfaith Memorial Service called The Longest Night.
“This recognizes the importance of services for our unhoused community,” he said. “This is organized by homeless service partners, providers, and local City and County Government and the faith groups.”
