Oxnard-- The Oxnard Police Department Dispatchers continue its commitment to the community with the support of the Oxnard Peace Officers Association, the Oxnard Police Community Foundation, and other private donors who have purchased, assembled, and equipped 92 JanSport backpacks to donate to Oxnard elementary students.
Backpacks were provided to a school in each of the four Oxnard “Police Districts” (North, South, East, and West) to allow for the administrative staff from these schools to support students in need (based on availability).
The Oxnard Police Department thanks its Dispatchers, the OPOA, the OPCF, and their private donors for investing in Oxnard’s Youth and the community’s future for making the donation possible.
