Interested residents can visit oxpdevents.com for more information and complete the submission form.
The Department is also hosting its Autumn Vitalant Blood Drive Wednesday, September 6, to help save lives.
The Department reports that every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, who can be could be a little girl in the ICU or a mother with Stage 3 leukemia.
Residents don’t need to worry about needles, as most blood donors compare the experience to a mild, split-second pinch.

The entire process is safe and fast, and people feel amazing knowing they potentially saved up to three people.
Appointments are available at donors. vitalant.org/.../guest/phl/ timeSlotsExtr...
