Oxnard—Love, respect, inclusion, and optimism for the future were the stars at Plaza Park on Saturday, June 29, as Oxnard Pride Day brought people together as one community.
THE event featured the Coalition for Family Harmony, Stonewall Democrats, which supports the LBGTQ Community and informs voters on political issues, All Saints Church, the LGBTQ Aging Coalition, and many others, offering support, acceptance, friendship, and community information. Event Sponsors HPC Port Hueneme, the Diversity Collective, Ventura County, Cooper, the Queen Productions @gwenwolyn.lamont, and Team Saski Kenpo added to the big celebration.
Attendees enjoyed food trucks from places like Pizza Man Dan, @wordofmouthtruck, @ laloicecream, and @Bell Catering.
The day offered free HIV/AIDS rapid testing and a mobile clinic from Ventura County with lots of information.
