South Pasadena Transit Authority wows concertgoers

Channel Islands-- The 2024 Concerts by the Sea shows wrapped up in grand fashion on Saturday, August 31, as the South Pasadena Transit Authority delivered a fantastic tribute to the band Chicago, which delighted the huge crowd.

THE Concerts by the Sea Community made the most of the finale, enjoyed plenty of snacks and a little liquid refreshments, and bounced onto the dance area when hearing a Chicago favorite. The band also mixed in some great dance songs, adding to the evening.

David Kendall is a regular concertgoer and makes it a point to attend each show.

“I always like the concerts, and that’s why I came to every single one of them,” he said. “I like all the bands; it doesn’t matter, and when the music got going, all the people will get up and start dancing.”

Robert Price and Christine Brown live in Oxnard, and they heard about the free Concerts by the Sea shows and started attending.

 

“This is going to be our fourth one this summer,” Price said.

“They all have their own thing, and I think I won’t like one as much, and they always surprise me.”
