Oxnard-- The City Council unanimously approved the tentative map for Santiago Industrial Suites, permit 22-300-03, during its Tuesday, January 2 meeting.
The tentative map subdivides a 4.16-acre lot for condominiums. The site has two previously permitted buildings and is currently under construction.
The project site is located in the northeast portion of the City on the corner of Santiago Court and Graves Avenue.
Planning Supervisor Jay Dobrowalski presented the map to the Council and said building A is approximately 42,000 square feet, and building B is 32,000 square feet with a mezzanine.
“Each building has 12 tenant spaces with office space, a restroom, and open space with a roll-up garage door and 170 parking spaces onsite,” he said. “The condo map would create 24 lots, matching the tenant spaces and one common area for the benefit of all the tenants.”
He said a special use permit is required for the subdivision, which the Planning Commission granted.
“The site has a general plan designation of light industrial and a zoning designation of limited manufacturing,” he said. “The project is consistent with the general plan and the zoning code.”
