THE new owner is a short, heavyset older man with an off-the-wall sense of humor. He has a passion for community issues, and he feels a huge responsibility for informing the public and telling both sides of every story without prejudice.
Effective Wednesday, December 1, the new owner of the Tri County Sentry is Republic Print Media, and the president is me, Chris Frost.
Let me take a minute to outline all the changes at the Tri County Sentry as I become the owner. Not a damn thing! I promise that The Sentry will remain in the community, shaking hands, bumping fists, and getting the real story, good or bad.
The good stories will celebrate this community and all its great assets, and the tough stories will be honest and forthright and will never change. As you all know, I am never at a loss for reporting on an issue, and that continues.
