Unkle Monkey concert swings Caribbean

Channel Islands - The Concerts by the Sea series in 2024 headed to the Caribbean on Saturday, August 17. Unkle Monkey brought the Tiki Bar straight from Margaritaville, along with Sharkey the Shark, a beach ball, and some guest turtles brought by a family attending the concert at Harbor View Park. It was a truly remarkable show!

THE band kicked off the show with plenty of seaside hits, which got the crowd dancing, forming a conga line, and reveling in a warm summer evening.

Kelly Estes lives in Silver Strand Beach and was all set for a great show.

“I was here for the Brandon Ragan Project and some of the locals I know, but it’s a beautiful day; I hear they’re good, and I love to dance,” she said. “The Concert Series is good this year. There were a couple I didn’t go to, but I like cover bands because they play a lot of dancing tunes.”

She said the Brandon Ragan Project was her favorite show of the summer.

 

Bob Moeller brought some snacks to enjoy during the show and planned to enjoy the music, but he wasn’t going to dance.
