Ventura-- Ventura Harbor Village was Easter Sunday Central, April 17, as the location played host to a joyous family-friendly celebration full of plenty of music, shopping, food, and dancing that everyone enjoyed immensely.
THE event featured The Barrelhouse Wailers, a New Orleans Hot Jazz Band that engaged the crowd and inspired fun.
Danny said the event was lots of fun.“I thought there would be pirates here,” he said.
Sunshine enjoyed the event with Danny and said she was enjoying Easter, but she didn’t consume lots of chocolate.
“We’re going to get something to eat later,” Danny said. “I like the band.”
Rosie Hernandez said her family was on the lawn, and they came out to see the Barrelhouse Wailers and enjoy Easter together.
“I made an Easter Bunny cake that we’re going to indulge in,” she said. “We went to the VFW earlier and brought some food there for their celebration. My (Easter) present is being with the family today, so that’s good enough for me.”
