Oxnard—The upcoming CFD (Community Facilities District ballot measure, set for a vote this November 5, continues with a public comment by Alicia Percell from Moving Oxnard Forward saying that if the CFD No. 5 measures pass and The Collection wishes to have special services they could form their own CFD with only The Collection.
"THEN they won’t be tethered to the decisions the residents of Riverpark wish to make,” she said.
Council Member Gabe Teran commented that two of the three proponents of the measure who wrote it refuted what was presented in the impact of the report.
“I also find it interesting that Mr Starr referred to this measure in front of us as status quo, and people can just not vote for his initiatives, and that would keep everything status quo as well,” he said. “I don’t know if he missed it, I don’t know if he didn’t read the agenda item.
