Oxnard-- Let me take a minute to speak directly to the area’s kids and tell them to pay attention in school. Trust me, you’ll regret it if you don’t.
Let me explain.
As I have written before, there are a whole bunch of new skills that I haven’t been exposed to before, that I said I would handle, and believe me, this is no easy feat.
I’m talking about the accounting part of this business, and I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m no math whiz. Not even close.
In other words, we’re playing remedial see spot run accounting here, and while the world is asleep, I am going through all the business accounts and doing a whole bunch of math.
As I work through the help file and get a grip on all this, I can’t help but think about high school and the lackadaisical approach I took to my studies, especially math.
Honestly, I started struggling with math in 7th grade. My parents employed a tutor, my 7th-grade science teacher, who painstakingly took me step-by-step and helped me through the class. My parents were paying for the help. I HAD to produce results.
I floundered…
